Damaging electrostatic discharge attacks and surges are diverted to the ETH-SP-G2 and safely discharged into the ground, so network devices are protected.
All Ubiquiti® airMAX® devices are equipped with built-in ESD protection, so the ETH-SP-G2 adds another layer of protection to your outdoor, high-speed network. ETH-SP-G2 supports passive 24/48V also 802.3af PoE and ethernet speeds up to 2.5Gbps.
The difference compared to the 1st generation
The only difference compared to the first generation is the higher maximum discharge current, which is 10kA. The first generation has discharge current 5kA.
