Huawei eKitEngine S530-48S4XE is an advanced L3+ switch that offers 16x SFP, 8x SFP / GLAN combo and 4x SFP+ ports. On the front side, there are also two SFP+ ports for stacking (configuration available only via CLI), 2x RJ45 for management and console, a USB port, and a reset and mode buttons. On the back, it is equipped with one power supply and a slot for an additional one.
The eKitEngine S530 switch series are developed on a high-performance, next-generation hardware and software platform. This platform supports simplified operations and maintenance, provides diverse L3 functions, and advanced IPv6 features. Redundant power with hot-swap capability is ensured by a pair of power supplies (one power supply is included in the package, the second can be optionally purchased). The switch also offers two dedicated ports for stacking. These switches can be used in various scenarios where high performance, reliability, stability, and availability are required, such as access or aggregation switches on campuses or as powerful switches in metropolitan networks.
