The SM5110LSB-10 is a high-performance Single Mode, Bi-Directional (uses one fiber for data transmission in both directions) SFP+ transceiver supporting the 10GBASE-BX standard. It supports bi-directional transmission at a speed of 10Gbps over a distance of up to 10 km using a 9/125µm optical fiber cable.

It transmits at a wavelength of 1270 nm and receives at a wavelength of 1330 nm.
It is designed to be used in pairs with the SM5110LSA-10, where both modules use opposite wavelengths for mutual communication.
